- Information and Referral 2-1-1 Services provides information in response to a direct request for information about a service, program, or agency.

- If information on the service, program or agency is not available, the I&R specialist will search the internet and other resources to obtain the information needed.

Referral Calls: |
- Information and Referral 2-1-1 Services provides referral services to the caller in response to the inquiry.
|
- The referral process consists of assessing the needs of the caller, identifying appropriate resources, and providing information about each program to help inquirers make and informed decision.
|
- If the service the caller is seeking is unavailable, the information and referral specialist will locate alternative resources, if available, but utilizing the internet and other resources.

- Referrals can be made for the following:
